The Tennessee Junior Sheep Producers is an organization of youth in Tennessee who have an interest in raising and showing sheep and promoting the sheep industry in Tennessee. TJSPA was founded in 1980 with the help of its parent organization, The Tennessee Sheep Producers Association. Inspiring and equipping youth to raise sheep is important because they are the future generations of shepherds in Tennessee.

TJSPA has two meetings a year--in June and December. They also assist with sheep events in Tennessee. Since its founding TJSPA has given youth opportunities to develop leadership, learn how to raise sheep, and gives youth a presence in the sheep industry.
